LAUNCHED … & on fire!

Last week we launched Art on the Move, a regional premier, kicked off by an amazing photo exhibition to celebrate our brand new webstore, In a nutshell, what makes Art On The Move so unique? Many would say the strong photographic content and yes we agree, that’s a solid start. On top of that, each frame comes with its own individual story. The idea is to turn the print into a conversation piece between me and you, you and the artwork, you and your friends, you and the virtual world … so each purchase is accompanied by my personal photo tales from the field. And did we mention that each print is handcrafted in our studio, produced to order and printed on premium Canson paper using the top notch Canon iPF 8400 large format printer?

It’s been an awesome and eye opening experience to see it all come to life. Of course, we experienced the build up but seeing the actual exhibition in full glory with our very own eyes takes it to a higher dimension and I’m truly proud! It’s good to press pause at times, to celebrate the NOW and the images that lie on the exhibition walls offer a snapshot of my twelve years in the Middle East. The positive feedback, energy and vibe from the launch night only strengthens this feeling.

The turn out was amazing with lots of new faces and no shortage of art enthusiasts. The Art Gallery Create! has been super supportive since the start and at one stage it was jam packed, experiencing one of their busiest night ever. We went for an unplugged, organic and RAW theme for the night … a perfect reflection of the Art On The Move brand … with fab, fresh juices from Essentially, NKD-pizza’s, m0re café Latte’s and off course, an amazing acoustic music performance by Shero@The Fridge Dubai. Together, it all worked a treat.

My personal highlight was when my beautiful wife Kiki did an unexpected opening speech. She talked of her pride in my journey to date and it was a perfect reminder of how lucky I am to have her by my side.

They’ve been working flat out for the last eight months. They’ve put in an insane amount of hours and I’m immensely grateful for all their efforts. From conceptualisation to build, image selection to retouching, buy viagra now from beta to alpha versions. The photo exhibition and webstore is now truly live! A big thank you goes to the team at Phishface & their web builder Saad for turning my hand sketch into a working online platform. My thanks to my copywriter & PR guru, Tori, for the media exposure and all the conversation sheets.  It’s been a great experience talking through all the images and capturing the individual stories. Thanks also to Luz for the monster job of uploading the web content and to the team at Ubrik who have kicked ass online shouting out our existence. Next, a big thanks to the awesome team at Create!, Karin, Sylvia, Agathe, Osca and Alieke, for opening their doors and finally, to all my family & friends for their ongoing feedback and encouragement.

Lastly I’m delighted with the support of three great brands; Canon, Audi and SanDisk. Their support made it possible to launch big, from finding the best match in terms of gallery space and making the PR and online noise I needed to and setting the exhibition theme that reflects the brand. So thank you, thank you thank you for your trust and support. I would encourage you to visit their respective Facebook pages as they’re giving away Art On The Move prizes and photo courses by the master himself…

Now, for the last time … no excuses … swing by for a visit!
